Obituary of Robert Quinones

Robert Quinones passed away at Hazel Hawkins Hospital in Hollister, California at the age of 88. Robert Quinones was born in Paso Robles, California on September 21, 1933. He passed away on October 18, 2021 at Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility her in Hollister. Robert lives most of his life here in Hollister. When he was a small child he lived at New Idria, attended school there and here in Hollister. He cherished memories of New Idria and shared often his exploring's to whoever would listen. Robert was the second child born to the late Jesus and Dolores Quinones whom immigrated to California from the state of Sinaloa, Mexico during the 1920's. He is survived by his two brothers, Frank Quinones (Rocio) from Avenal, California, and Joe Quinones; His sister Eva Quinones; also his great niece, great nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Dolores Quinones; nephews Raymond and Richard Quinones. Visitation will be Monday, October 25, 2021 at Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Burial gravesite service to follow at San Juan Bautista Cemetery, San Juan Bautista, California. Thank you to Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility for the caring, professional care given to Robert.
