Obituary of Eva Q. Miramontes

Eva passed away from long term illnesses at the age of 83 on Friday August 13, 2021. Our Mother lived a very fulfilling life. Some of her favorite pastimes were going to the casinos, watching her grandchildren's sports, working on her Search Word puzzles, going to the movies, back in the day watching The Price is Right and her daytime novelas. But what she looked forward to the most was cooking for the holidays, so that All her family would be together. We will forever miss her phenomenal cooking. Our Mom's house was always open for any of her family to come in, eat a nice warm homemade meal and a place to stay/sleep for however long you needed. Mom didn't have much but she was A very beautiful Mother with a heart of gold. Our Mom went by many names by her family that loved her beyond words. Mama Eva, Ama, Evies and Grandma. She will forever be missed. Eva is survived by her loving mother Ysabel Jaime that is 101 years old. Mom was any only child so she once told us "Por favor tengan mas de un nino para que no esten solitos" she is survived by her 5 children Nicolasa Sanchez, Marina McMahon, Rosalinda Arroyo, Isabel Acosta and Jose "Joey" Parra. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Per her wish no services will be provided.
