Obituary of Anna Mae Zamora

Anna Mae Zamora passed away at her Hollister residence on July 30th, 2021 at the age of 88 years. Anna Mae McAlister Zamora was born in Sparkman, Arkansas on May 8, 1933 and entered her eternal home on July 30, 2021 at the age of 88. Anna Mae lived a life of love and dedication at a very young age to her own family growing up, and continued as a wife and mother showing her love to her own immediate family. Anna Mae was an avid homemaker. She loved gardening, cooking, baking, sewing and caring for her many grandchildren. We will be gathering to share some of our favorite memories, our stories, to laugh, to cry and remember a beautiful soul who will be forever missed. She is survived by sister Marie Thurman; daughters Anna Marie Zamora, Cynthia Zamora Sauceda, Darlene Elaine Zamora and Debora Lynn Zamora; sons John Sanchez Zamora Jr. and David Arthur Zamora; 24 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Anna Mae is preceded in death by husband John Sanchez Zamora Sr.; brothers JC McAlister, Marvin McAlister, Douglous McAlister; sister Janie McAlister; and son Steve Sanchez Zamora.
