Obituary of Evelyn P. Paura

Evelyn P. Paura passes away in San Leandro on August 29, 2016, at the age of 85 years. Evelyn was born in Kansas to Frank and Anna Paura. The family moved to California in 1937. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, baking and most importantly caring for her parents, siblings and her son Terry. She was a generous, compassionate and a loving person that was always concerned with everyone's well being. She is survived by her son Neil (Terry) Duffy and sisters Angeline Coleman of Hollister and Sarah Davis of San Jose. She was preceded in death by siblings Rose Nacarato, Edith Nacarato, Helen DeRose, Peter Paura, Mary Garcia and Joseph Paura. A mass of the Resurrection will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos on September 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
