It is with profound sadness and deep sorrow that the families of Mike (Miggy) Salinas announce his sudden passing on Wednesday the 9th of June, 2021 at the age of 44. Mike will be lovingly remembered by his brothers; Adolf (Maria Lamberson) Salinas, Mario {Margaret) Salinas, and sister Linda (Juan) Vasquez of Hollister Nephews/Nieces; Nathan (Yolanda), Zachery, Nayomi and Seth Vasquez of Hollister; Lanette (Alvaro), Chloe and Sophia Vasquez of Hollister; Adam and Kingston Lamberson of Hollister; Anthony (Celine), Madison, Julianna and Celeste Vasquez of Cerritos, Ca.; Elyssa, Audrinna, Xavier and MayaLynn Vasquez, Sommer and Autumn Salinas and girl-friend Maria Ruiz all of Hollister. Loving God parents Blanca Garza and Ralph Chavez. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in California and Texas. Mike loved life and enjoyed every minute of it while traveling and backpacking through Europe, Snowboarding in the Swiss Alps, Colorado, Vail and Lake Tahoe. He mostly enjoyed cooking for all his family and was known as "Gourmet Mike." The most important thing to Mike were his nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews, especially his God-children (Chloe and Seth). They meant the world to him and he treated each one of them with the highest love and respect. He had a special part of his heart dedicated to his girl-friend, Maria Ruiz and was very happy in the last months of his life. Mike's life included his family, childhood friends and work friends. He remained friends throughout his life with his childhood friends, or co-workers regardless of where they lived. He always managed to reach out to everyone because of his huge heart and the familial bond. From Mike; U knw!!! Sauuuuuse!!! Preceded in Death by his loving parents, Maria Teresa Garza Salinas and Marin Salinas. His Maternal Grandparents, Herminia and Maria Concepcion (Concha) Garza; his Paternal Grandparents, Rafael and Livrada Salinas and his oldest niece, Nicole Salinas.
