Retha was like a second mother to me. She was there for me since the day I got to Chamberlain's. Helped me over come my struggles and the battles I faced everyday. Because of retha I graduated 8th grade with my certificate and got my high school diploma. Because of retha I am stronger today than when I first stepped foot on campus. I won't lie when I tell you it was hard for me to open up with retha but after a couple months went by I never stopped bugging her. You see retha had this office she would sit in everyday even after her shift was over and I would sit in the door way and just watch her work shoot I even ran into her office as soon as I came home from school to hug her. Because retha was the person you would hug . I gave her a nick name that was only for me to call her and one day I let it slip at her meeting and everyone just smiled. I miss her everyday even after I graduated the program I still called her and visited her. She got to meet my son I was so excited to share with her everyday what I was doing.
