Obituary of Betty May Wood

Betty May Wood passed away at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital on February 1,2016 at the age of 84years. She was a native of San Jose, California and had lived in Hollister for the last 35 years. A homemaker all her adult life, Betty loved the time she could spend with her family, especially the time spent out-of-doors such as visiting the Pinnacles and Hollister Hills. She is survived by children Douglas Parsen, Mary Lundquist, Darlynn Ricks, Deborah Vencincio, and Tammy Noble; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses. Friends are invited to attend the funeral ceremony on Thursday, February 4, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary chapel. Private cremation has been held. Memorials are preferred to the Cancer Society c/o the funeral home.
