Obituary of Leonida Ramiscal Quilla

Leonida (Loleng) R. Quilla, age 86, received her angel wings on June 23, 2019 in Hollister, CA surrounded by family.

She was born in Sual, Pangasinan, Philippines on October 12, 1932 to Juan Peralta Ramiscal and Aurelia Bilbao Dela Cruz. She was the 5th of 12 children and was married to the late Manuel C. Quilla.

Leonida will forever be remembered by her endless smiles, hugs, cooking, sewing, and her famous winking face. She stayed strong until the very end. Her strength and perseverance will forever inspire us.

She is survived by her Children: Richard & Myrna, Ronald & Juliet, Robert & Sheila, Weng & Sonny, and Lyn & Ricky; Grandchildren: Rona & Marlon, Wendy, Faith & Nathaniel, Paolo & Jean, Jayjay, Jolo, Sheanne & Siljeff, Joy, Carlos, Trisha, Francis & Christine, Franklin & Liezel, and Erica & Howard; Great-grandchildren: Honeyka, John Ronald, Sean, & Hans, Ronron, Jeyros, Greyson, Franzer; Franzella & Francheska, and Rico; Siblings:  Nenita, Erlinda, Ligaya, Ernesto, Ely & Perla; along with many nieces and nephews and extended relatives.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 4, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of the Resurrection will be on Friday, July 5, 2019 11:00 am at St. Benedict Church (1200 Fairview Rd Hollister, CA 95023).

Reception to follow at Veteran's Park Shelter B (1221 Memorial Dr. Hollister, CA 95023).

Interment will be private.
