Herb worked for me for a short time, but long enough to make a lasting impression on me. We worked together on many projects including some equipment I still use all the time. He was a remarkable person, with a smile on his face and a positive attitude which rubbed off on everyone he was around. As a fabricator of mechanical things, he is the last of his kind from my experience. In todays world of CNC cutting equipment and solid modeling, no one knows how it was done before. Herb knew, we called him, Herb-O-Matic because he did not need drawings to build things and could build anything, I would tell him what I wanted and he would produce it and it would be prefect. His spirit will live on in the many accomplishments of his life, I will always remember Herb and be thankful for our time together. My condolences to Jackie and his family.
His was a life well lived, thank you Herb.

Uncle Herb was a special man. Always had time for your questions. Anyone who knew him, looked up to him. He always had a gentleness to him that's hard to explain.
I have so many fond memories from Lucy Brown Lane. From working out on the farm to riding motorcycles. Uncle, you will be missed.

Mrs. Teshima, Pete, Mark and Linda.....
When I think of Mr. Teshima I will always remember him with a warm smile and kind words! You were all so blessed to have his love and especially his love for his grandchildren, the world lost a true gentleman.....thank you all for sharing him with everybody!

My prayers and condolences to the entire Teshima family. Herb was great role model when i was young and a excellent co-worker in my early adult years. Many of fond memories of vacationing with the Teshima family and of course our many shared memories on the ball field.
