Joan Campbell-Garcia age 86, of Hollister passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026.

Joan was born on September 7,1939, in Gary Indiana. She moved to Hollister in 1985

and married Eduino Garcia.

Joan was a loving person who cared deeply about music and education. She taught for

11 years at San Adreas Continuation High School. When she retired, she continued her

passion for education by serving on the SBCOE Board of Education for 24 years.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband Eduino. She is survived by her sister

Barbara (Pradip), her children Doug (Ron) and Karen (Larry), and her grandchildren

Adam and Zoe.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Belinda Alangi, Marie Law, and the staff at

William & Inez Mabie Skilled Nursing facility for their care.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service in memory of Joan on Friday,

August 28th at 5pm at Grunnagle Funeral Home.
