I worked with Dohn both at Rancho and then we all went to open Maze Middle school with Bernice Smith. We were a close knit of teachers. Dohn was passionate in everything that he did. He loved talking about sports and helped me out whenever I needed someone to umpire a basketball or softball tournament. I will miss seeing Dohn whenever our Maze group gets together. May he rest in peace and watch over us.

I met Dohn in Wurzburg, Germany in early 1972. We were part of 3rd Infantry Finance supporting the 3rd Infantry Division. Dohn was my roommate along with Paul Vervack for a year. Dohn and Paul both played guitar. Many nights were spent just listening to these guys play. On weekends we traveled by train to Frankfurt and listen to all the major British and American bands touring Europe. One special event was the 2nd British Rock Meeting in Germersheim. Over 50,000 of our best friends were with us. I could go on and on. Let me just simply say that I'm so thankful Dohn came into my life and we stayed friends up to the day of his passing. Mary, please know that Gail and I send our warmest hugs and love to you and the family. God Bless. Mike Sullivan

I was so lucky to be in Mr. Larson's 8th grade class at Sacred Heart School (Class of 1976), his first year in Hollister. My grand-nephew was in his last class at Maze Middle School in 2009, where they honored Mr. Larson upon his retirement. He was such a wonderful man and a dedicated teacher. Thank you Mr. Larson.

Sorry to hear of Dohn's passing. I worked for the school district while he was there. I played a few rounds of golf out at Bolado Park with him. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
