Kyle Evan Daniel McClaflin Obituary

Kyle Evan Daniel McClaflin

March 15, 1986 — February 13, 2026

It is with shattered hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kyle Evan Daniel McClaflin on February 13, 2026. At only 39 years old, Kyle’s life was cut tragically short, leaving a void in our family that words cannot begin to fill. We are deeply heartbroken to lose a son, father, brother, and friend far sooner than we ever imagined, and we struggle to find peace in a world that feels much dimmer without his light.

The Heart of a Helper

He was a man defined by a rare and quiet kind of selflessness. Known by all as someone who would truly give the shirt off his back, Kyle’s life was a testament to the idea that helping others should always come first. Whether it was a friend in need or a stranger looking for a hand, Kyle was there with a willing spirit and a kind heart.

The Thrill of the Ride

A true daredevil at heart, Kyle found his greatest joy and freedom in the outdoors. He was never more himself than when he was on the move—whether he was riding his motorcycle or navigating an off-road race. He loved the roar of an engine and the excitement of the open trail. That adventurous, fun-loving spirit was infectious, and it’s how those who loved him will always see him: moving forward with courage and a sense of play.

A Devoted Father

While he loved the thrill of the ride, Kyle’s greatest devotion was to his family. As a loving father, he brought a sense of fun and warmth to his children’s lives. His legacy lives on in them—in their laughter, their kindness, and the lessons he taught them about showing up for the people you love.

Family & Farewell

Kyle is the beloved son of Teri McClaflin and Steve McClaflin. He is survived by his children, Cailin, Robert, and Austin, and their mother, Megan Fulford; his brother, Ryan McClaflin; his nephew, Ethan McClaflin and niece, Eleanor McClaflin; and a close-knit circle of cousins and friends, including Fernando Rodriguez and Eric Hansen, who will miss his generous soul and his adventurous spark.

Service & Memorial

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on March 18, 2026, at Grunnagles. We invite family and friends to join us in honoring Kyle’s adventurous spirit and his generous heart.

Supporting His Legacy

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a memorial fund established for his children’s future. Kyle’s greatest joy was being a father, and ensuring his children are supported is the greatest way to honor his memory.
