Ruben Rene Alnas Obituary

Ruben Alnas, 32, of Hollister, passed away on February 24, 2026. He was born on August 23,

1993, in Hollister, California, where he was raised and spent most of his life surrounded by

family and friends.


Ruben was a hardworking man who lived life with courage and strength. He was known for his

big smile, fearless spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Family meant everything to

Ruben, and he carried that love and loyalty into all that he did.


Ruben had a deep passion for riding motorcycles and loved the freedom and excitement they

brought him. He also dedicated much of his time to coaching youth sports in the Hollister

community. Ruben coached with the Hollister Vikings, as well as 7-on-7 flag football, and he

served as a basketball coach. He especially loved coaching his son and was devoted to helping

him grow into the best person he could be.


Ruben will always be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the way he uplifted those

around him. He touched many lives through his coaching, his friendships, and his unwavering

dedication to his family.


Ruben was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Alnas Sr., and his brother, Rodney Alnas.


He is survived by his mother, Sandra Bautista; his children, Khaleesi, Kaine, and Kiyah; and

Kaine and Kiyah’s mother, Melissa. He is also survived by his siblings, Raymond (Anita), Rikki

(Dana), Russell (Melissa), Rion, Reinny, Kassandra, and David. Ruben leaves behind his beloved

grandmother, Patsy, and grandfather, John Q., along with eight nieces, four nephews, and one great-

niece, his godson Ivan, and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.


Ruben’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many young athletes

whose lives he helped shape. His legacy of strength, love, and dedication to others will never be

forgotten.
