Gerald "Jerry" Patrick Moore Jr, left us peacefully to be with the Lord on February 26, 2026 surrounds by loved ones. Jerry was born March 24, 1955 in San Jose, CA to Beverly and Gerald Sr. He graduated from Saratoga High School in 1973 and spent the summer on a cross-country trip with 3 friends. He spent a few years at De Anza College. He went into construction and eventually received his CSLB Contractors License and started a small construction business GPM Construction. He most liked working with wood and building things. He loved baseball (diehard Giants fan), played soccer for years, and had an uncanny passion for golf and taught others how to golf and told stories and made it fun. He helped much of the family, friends, and neighbors with numerous projects. He was the neighborhood watch. He is preceded to heaven by his parents Beverly and Gerald and other family members. Jerry is survived by his wife Mary, children Caitlin and Patrick; siblings Kerry, Sharon, David, numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held March 21 at 11 am at Grunnagles Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister, CA. With a reception at the family home following at 2380 Fairhaven Drive. In lieu of flowers, send a donation to St. Jude's in Jerry's memory. Come and rest my good and faithful servant, be thou at peace.
