Celebration of life for Lois Jean Lineberry-Norman

Lois Jean Lineberry-Norman, age 90, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025,

in Hollister, California. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great

grandmother, aunt and friend whose life was rooted in love, kindness, and a deep

appreciation for God’s creation.

She was born on August 14,1935, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Henry Dewey Lineberry and

Mildred Frayer Lineberry, she had two brothers, Wilbert Lineberry, Robert Lineberry, and

a sister Sharon Haley. Lois lived a life shaped by devotion to God, her family, quiet

strength, and resilience. She carried with her the values of her Midwestern roots and

left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She will be remembered for her caring

nature, and the many ways she touched the lives around her.

Lois had a special bond with nature and found her greatest peace on a ranch outside

Hollister where she spent countless hours caring for her farm animals-especially her

beloved goats and dogs, and any stray that showed up at her doorstep. She loved and

cared for her animals with a deep passion. Tending to them brought her joy and

purpose, and her deep love for animals was a defining part of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband Gary Norman; her children, Debby Bradshaw,

Gail Winters (Steve) and John Cantrell (Monica), sister Sharon Haley, sister-in-law

Norma Lineberry, and her cherished grandchildren, Natasha Herzig (Kyle), Scott

Bradshaw (Jessica), Jonathan Cantrell, Thomas Cantrell, Tiffany Cantrell, Matthew

(Ana) Silvestre and Paiton Winters. She was blessed with 12 great grandchildren, and

numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom brought her great joy.

Her granddaughter, Natasha, wanted the world to know, “She was the best grandma

ever and loved me unconditionally without judgement and always made me feel

accepted no matter where I was in my life. That was a gift itself”.

A private celebration of life will be held in her honor.
