Patricia “Pat” Whisman

May 21, 1947 – October 30, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia “Pat” Whisman announces her sudden passing

on October 30, 2025, at the age of 78.

Pat was born on May 21, 1947, in Wilmington, Delaware, to the late Estelle and Paul Williams.

She grew up in Wilmington and later moved to Newark, DE, where she worked in the

manufacturing industry for more than 30 years. In 2019, she relocated to California to live with

her daughter and grandson.

Pat was known to all for her sense of humor, spunky spirit, and love of sweets. She was also a

shameless flirt who made friends easily and could strike up a conversation with anyone. She

enjoyed going to the movies, playing cards with her sister and family, gardening, and watching

Philadelphia Eagles games with her daughter every week.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Paula Fisher, and her beloved grand-dog

Buffy.

She is survived by her daughters, Heather Whisman of Hollister, CA, and Kimberly Whisman of

Benson, AZ; her grandsons, Ryan Chadwick and Jordan Whisman; and her sister Estelle Sisofo.

She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and

friends. She will perhaps be most missed by her grand-kitty Thor and her constant companion,

her grand-dog Vivienne.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
