Edith Grace Bilo, 90, of Salinas, California, passed peacefully and surrounded by love on July 14, 2025.
Born in Blue River, Kentucky, on August 26, 1934, Edith carried the strength and grace of her roots throughout her life. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, John, with whom she shared a lasting marriage filled with cherished memories.
Better known as “Grandma,” Edith spent her life as a dedicated homemaker and loving mother of three. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family—she poured her heart into raising her children and grandchildren, becoming a constant presence of wisdom and love. Edith was a guiding light to many and will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela E. Bilo; her granddaughters, Kristen and Randi Anne; her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Lauren, and Gracen Lorenzo.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Anthony Bilo; her daughter, Deborah L. Bilo; and her son, Randy C. Bilo.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, July 25, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA 95023.
