Juan Negrete Estrada, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2025, at the age of 89 in Hollister, California.

Born on May 16, 1936, in Tizapán El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico, Juan was the son of Manuel Negrete Chavez and Elpidia Estrada Salcedo. A hardworking and humble man, he spent his life dedicated to agricultural work, contributing to various local farming communities with commitment and integrity.

Juan is survived by his beloved wife, Angelina García de Negrete; his children Ricardo, Teresa, Ma. Luisa, Norma, and Anani Negrete García; and his seventeen grandchildren. He is also survived by his seven siblings, who held a special place in his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Maricela Negrete García, and his brother Tranquilino Negrete Estrada.

Funeral Arrangements:

• Visitation: Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA.

• Funeral Mass: Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church. The service will be officiated by Father Heibar.

• Burial: Following the Mass, burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, 1100 Hillcrest Road, Hollister, CA 95023.

Juan's life was a testament to love, perseverance, and faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Juan Negrete Estrada, querido esposo, padre, abuelo y hermano, falleció pacíficamente el 17 de junio de 2025, a la edad de 89 años en Hollister, California.

Nacido el 16 de mayo de 1936 en Tizapán El Alto, Jalisco, México, Juan fue hijo de Manuel Negrete Chávez y Elpidia Estrada Salcedo. Hombre trabajador y humilde, dedicó su vida al trabajo agrícola, contribuyendo con compromiso e integridad a diversas comunidades agrícolas locales.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Angelina García de Negrete; sus hijos Ricardo, Teresa, Ma. Luisa, Norma y Anani Negrete García; así como sus diecisiete nietos. También le sobreviven sus siete hermanos, quienes ocupaban un lugar especial en su corazón. Le precedieron en fallecimiento sus padres, su hija Maricela Negrete García y su hermano Tranquilino Negrete Estrada.

• Velorio: Domingo 22 de junio de 2025, de 3:00 p.m. a 7:00 p.m. en Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA.

• Misa fúnebre: Lunes 23 de junio de 2025 a las 11:00 a.m. en la Iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción. La ceremonia será oficiada por el Padre Heibar.

• Entierro: Después de la misa, el entierro se llevará a cabo en Calvary Cemetery, 1100 Hillcrest Road, Hollister, CA 95023.
