Obituary of Guadalupe Rodriguez

Guadalupe Rodriguez passed away at the age of 88 surrounded by his loving family on May 28, 2025 in Hollister California. He was born on July 15, 1937, to Anselmo and Maria De Refujio Rodriguez in Monterey Nevo Leon Mexico. He came to the United States in 1952 at the age of 15 where he met his beloved wife Genoveva until her passing on March 4, 2018, they were married for 59 years they got married on December 3, 1958, and formed their family where they were blessed with their sons and daughters. Lupe loved to spend time with his family. He loved to make homemade flour tortillas, he also enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time in his garden pruning his fruit trees. He worked for Gilroy foods for over 20 years as a machine operator. He also spent time preaching the word of God to others. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness until his death. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife Genoveva Rodriguez on March 4, 2018. He is survived by his children Rosalinda and Justo Avila of Hollister, David and Martha Rodriguez of Los Banos and Guadalupe Rodriguez JR of seaside, Martin Rodriguez of Australia, Delfino Rodriguez of Hollister, Juan Carlos and Melody of Hollister, Estevan and Richalda Rodriguez of Hollister, Guillermina and Jerry Orta of Hollister. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and one on the way. He is also survived by two brothers and four sisters. The visit will be on Wednesday June 11, 2025, at Grunnagle-Amet0-Nelson Funeral home 3:00- 7:00pm with a special talk at 5:30. Interment will be Thursday June 12, 2025, at 11:00am at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Buena Vista Road at Cassia Ct in Hollister
