Obituary of Clarice Borelli Felice
Clarice Borelli Felice
February 20, 1938 – March 24, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clarice Borelli Felice on March 24, 2025, at the age of 87. Clarice was born on February 20, 1938, in Hollister, California, to Clara La Macchia Borelli and Frank Peter Borelli. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her beloved brother, Frank Peter Borelli Jr.
Clarice’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted mother to Joseph Felice (Sharyl), Claire Del Curto, Peter Felice, Rico Felice (Stephanie), and Ticia Felice Meagher (Caanan). She was also a cherished grandmother to Dacien Felice, Tristan Felice, Giano Del Curto (Keahna), Michaela Del Curto, Dimarco Del Curto, Justice Felice, Peter Felice, Carli Felice, and Frankie Meagher.
A trailblazer, Clarice a first generation American, was the first woman to graduate college in her family, earning her bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University. She dedicated her career to education, teaching at Gilroy High School and San Benito Joint Union High School, where she left a lasting impact on generations of students who loved and remembered her fondly.
In 1959, Clarice married Frank Felice and built a loving home in her hometown of Hollister. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Her selflessness and unwavering love were the cornerstones of her family’s foundation.
Beyond her role as a mother and grandmother, Clarice had a deep love for her large extended family. She passionately volunteered at Sacred Heart School, even spearheading a paper drive in the 1970s. Later in life, she became a respected realtor in San Benito County, earning the title of Realtor of the Year in the 1980s.
One of her favorite places to gather with loved ones was her family ranch on Lone Tree Road, where she spent countless days barbecuing under the bay leaf tree, surrounded by family and friends—a tradition that began in her childhood and continued throughout her life.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Hollister, followed by a private burial at Calvary Cemetery at noon.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Sacred Heart School, honoring Clarice’s lifelong dedication to education and community service.
Clarice was truly one of a kind—her love knew no bounds, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her
