Obituary of Salvador R. Flores

June 1, 1952 – February 19, 2025 Salvador R. Flores, 72, of Hollister, California, passed away on February 19, 2025. He was born on June 1, 1952, in Tipton, California, to Maria Rodrigues and Jesus Flores. Salvador graduated from San Benito High School in Hollister in 1970. For most of his life, Salvador lived in Hollister, where he met his beloved wife, Carmen Flores, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage. Salvador worked as a truck driver for over 30 years and retired as a proud Teamster. He had a deep love for his family and cherished spending time with them. He enjoyed eating out, traveling, and visiting new places. Salvador was known for his generosity and was always willing to lend a hand. He had a candid sense of humor, and those who knew him will forever remember his kind heart and smile. Salvador was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Flores; his father, Jesus Flores; his mother, Maria Rodrigues; and his brother, Jesse Flores. He is survived by his daughter Jessica Kranz, son in-law Craig Kranz, his daughter Michelle Scalise, daughter in-law Merrilee Scalise, his son Salvador Flores Jr., daughter in-law Amber Flores. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Shelby Kranz, Jazmine Flores, Aaliyah Flores, Emma Kranz, and Salvador Flores III. Salvador is survived by his siblings: Manual Flores, Tina Delgado, Hortencia Cases, Laura Hurtado, Janice Guillen, Teresa Ramirez, Felicia Flores, and Emiliano Flores, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
