Obituary of Robert Ray Guevara

Robert Ray, also known as (Bob)by, 68, of Winton, Ca. passed away on February 7th, 2025, in Merced. Ca. Funeral service and Burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Hollister on 2/28/25 at 12:00 pm. Robert was born in San Jose, Ca to Helen and John Garcia on May 25th, 1956. He went to high school at Mt. Pleasant High and graduated in 1974. He went on to join the Army after graduating and completed his service with an honorable discharge on April 4th, 1979. He was station at Fort Leavenworth, in Kansas as well as, in Berlin, Germany. He worked as a Landscape Project Supervisor for Camellia City Landscape for 20+ years, retiring from the business in 2006. After he retired, he still enjoyed landscaping and helped so many other seniors in his community keep their yards clean and beautiful. Robert is survived by his two Sons, Robert Jr and Raymond Guevara of Santa Clara, Ca. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, and his 6 grandchildren. He was a widow of his long-time wife, Arlette Guevara. He will be missed and loved by many.
