Obituary of Maria E. Juarez

Maria passed away after hip surgery. She is preceded in death by her son Joseph Vargas. Maria was loved by her entire family, son Andrew Vargas and his wife Patricia Vargas, Karen Vargas wife of Joseph Vargas two granddaughters Elena (Damian) Perez and Eileen Vargas. She also had 3 loving great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Maria lived a long wonderful life, she was a passionate mother, a devoted friend, a world traveler and enjoyed story telling. She possessed a green thumb that grew celebrated flowers and a bounty of fruits and vegetables. We will miss her wonderful tamales, homemade tortillas and countless other wonderful dishes she made. Friends and relatives are invited by the family to the viewing and rosary at The Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Mortuary in 870 San Benito Street, Hollister, CA on Sunday evening at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday will be a Mass and celebration of her life at Sacred Heart Church 680 College Street, Hollister, CA 95023, with a reception at residence of Andrew & Patricia Vargas. Burial will be a private service at Santa Clara Mission the following day.
