Obituary of Beatriz A. Reyna

Beatriz A. Reyna (also known as Bea), a long-time resident of Hollister, died Tuesday the 5th of September at San Jose Regional Hospital. She was born on July 14, 1929, in Edinburg, Texas. At Gavilan Community College she received her AA in Child Development. She then severed as a director at a day care in Gilroy. She spent her later years surrounded by her loving family.
Beatriz loved good food and socializing, enjoyed gardening with family, and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.
 
She is survived by her children: Sonne Reyna, Minnie Zavala, Emily Hollowell, Juanita Ponce, and Lucille Moore, Joaquin and Ali Reyna, daughter-in-law Melba Reyna, and her grandchildren: Ray Reyna, Juan Reyna, Jesse Reyna, Daniel Reyna, Leo Reyna, Kimberly Zavala, Jackie Zavala, Stephanie Jamie, Christina Hollowell, Sara Ponce, Robert Moore, Jessica Moore, and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Beatriz was preceded in death by her husband Juan Jose Reyna and her sons: Ramon and Jesse Reyna.
