Obituary of Roberto Madrid Casas

Robert Casas, age 67, passed away on April 14, 2016 with family by his side. He was born in Hollister, California on May 13, 1948. He joins his departed parents Elias and Francisca Casas; sister Lourdes. He is survived by his children Loraine and Olivia Casas; Roberta Reyes and husband Frank; his grandchildren Darlene and Amanda Gonzalez; Samantha, Bobbi, Primo and Mateo Reyes; his great grandchildren Faith and Zoey. He is also survived by his siblings Emily Jacinto; Leo Casa and wife Evie; DeeDee Valadez, Al Casas and wife Julie; Sally Stephenson; Ralph Casas; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death is nephew Joel Casa and brother-in-law Frank Stephenson Sr. Robert loved spending time with his family and friends, attending his grandchildren’s activities, camping, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, and traveling. As a lifetime resident of Hollister and local handyman, he built everlasting relationships and friendships. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow.
